Capilano Real Estate Market

Most if not all of the Capilano community homes for sale were constructed before the year 1960. Structurally classic, these homes are mainly single-detached houses that are evenly spaced and landscaped with mature full trees. Most houses in Capilano are owner-occupied with only 4% rented.

Capilano Community Amenities

The numerous natural wonders and amenities inside the Capilano neighbourhood's perimeters are amazing. Park sites are everywhere in the community and each of them is publicly accessible. The largest amongst them is Capilano Park and this main park is an ideal destination for picnics and outdoor activities for many residents.

Another park site in this neighbourhood is Samis Park, named after Earl Samis who was one of the main developers of Edmonton's recreational spaces. There is also another smaller park site in Capilano that was built in honour of a famous Edmonton lawyer named Alexander Harold Theile.

There are also a couple of schools close by including the Suzuki Charter School and St. Gabriel Catholic Elementary School. The neighbourhood has its own Capilano Community League & Tennis Club, which residents can use for a wide range of leisure and sporting activities. In terms of shopping and services, Capilano residents usually head to the nearby Capilano Mall to do their errands, visit the health centre or to grab a bite to eat at one of the restaurants.
