Chapelle Neighbourhood History

The history of the Chapelle neighbourhood begins when it was approved for urban development by city council on February 20, 2008. Residential construction started shortly afterwards in 2010 and is still underway. Today, Chapelle is a vibrant, exclusive, residential community. It takes full advantage of the nearby Whitemud Creek Ravine and Chapelle homes for sale are expected to rise in both price and popularity in the coming years.

Chapelle Community Condos and Townhomes

The Chapelle community is made up of condos and townhomes. Housing in Chapelle is a mix of low and medium-density residential units to accommodate a range of income groups and family sizes. Other roadways that connect the neighbourhood to the nearby communities include 28 Avenue, Heritage Valley Trail, 141 Street, Calgary Trail / Gateway Boulevard and Anthony Henday Drive. Transit facilities here include regular bus services and a new LRT station is planned to open in the near future in the Heritage Valley Town Centre.

Notable facilities in this community include the Whitemud Creek Golf & RV Resort and the Jagare Ridge Golf Course. Chapelle is also home to three commercial sites with one along 28 Avenue, a second one on a collector road and a third one at the intersection of Heritage Valley Trail and 41 Avenue.
