Lendrum Place Neighbourhood History
Lendrum Place was named after Robert Lendrum, a prominent land surveyor and figure in history during the time when the neighbourhood was still under development. There was slow progress in terms of residential construction in Lendrum Place during its first wave of development after the Second World War. During those years, the community only had about 100 homes. It was not until the 1960s when developers started to notice this neighbourhood and construction boomed.
