West Edmonton Mall was created when a handful of people wanted to create a shopping centre that would be a world-class destination. These visionaries wanted to create a place where the mall’s stores, attractions and services could come together to make the most comprehensive retail, entertainment and hospitality complex in the world.

Visiting the mall
The mall is located at 1755, 8882 170 Street in Edmonton. It’s open Mondays through Saturdays from 10am-9pm and Sundays from 11am-6pm. avoid parking at the northwest corner of the mall while demolition work is underway.
Along with shopping and dining, you’ll find major attractions during your visit. There is Galaxyland, the world’s largest indoor amusement park, World Waterpark, Marine Life and more. There is a movie theatre, dining and nightlife all at the mall. You can stay at the Fantasyland Hotel or West Edmonton Inn for overnight accommodations.
Services
You’ll find services at the mall in addition to world-class shopping. Restrooms are located on Level Two in Phase III by the World Waterpark viewing window. All-day lockers can be rented for $8-$15. Single strollers are available to rent as well as smartcarte shopping carts and electric scooters while complimentary wheelchairs are no charge.
