Fort Edmonton Park offers history on the area and is located on 158 acres of land. It’s located along the river valley of Edmonton. What once was a Centennial project in Canada in 1967 to rebuild and reconstruct Fort Edmonton grew to be something bigger than that.

Dedicated efforts to the Rotary Club and the Foundation of Fort Edmonton allowed for the park to now include 1846 Hudson’s Bay Fort in addition to streets of 1885, 1905, and 1920 which depict the early history of the area. The park is owned by the city and operated by Fort Edmonton Management Company.

With so much to see and do for the entire family, this can be a great way to spend a nice summer day outside as a family.
